Cooking and Conversation with Mandy Marshall & Be Well Family Care
Thursdays: October 9, 16, 23, 30
Want to get more confident in the kitchen and make new connections? This class is for you! Each week, we’ll cook fun, easy recipes together - nothing too complicated, just good food you’ll actually want to eat again.
While we cook, you’ll also get the chance to practice real-life communication skills, like:
- How to start and keep a conversation going
- Ways to join in when a group is already talking
- What to say if there’s a misunderstanding
- How to speak up for yourself and share your ideas
- Tips for making new friends and working as a team
This class is designed with neurodivergent young adults in mind, so you can expect a relaxed, supportive space where everyone is encouraged to be themselves. You’ll leave each session with new recipes, stronger communication strategies, and more confidence -plus the bonus of enjoying the food we make together.
