Myo-inositol: A natural isomer of glucose, is a precursor for the second messenger system (phosphatidyl-inositol) that is used by noradrenergic, cholinergic and serotonergic receptors. It regulates numerous cellular functions including membrane and receptor function, promoting calm.
L-theanine (as Suntheanine®): Excellent GABA-A receptor agonist; anxiolytic; induces alpha waves in CNS, supporting alert, but calm state.
5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP): Tryptophan metabolite and Serotonin precursor.
